Yeah FB was flooded earlier that he had died. Still, "grave condition" not good.

It was WaPo that reported Wooden dead. Another feather in the Kaplan Test Prep news-paper's cap.

For weeks on the Bruin boards the word was out that Wooden wasn't doing well at all. He's 99. This isn't a surprise. And I am very strongly affected; in my mind he is so identified with my Dad that his passing will seem like I've lost my father again. The Greatest Coach.

I happened to be in LA downtown yesterday and driving back to Santa Cruz I went by Westwood.... big signs hanging on buildings on Frat Row saying good by to the Wizard.
