I'll be at Iron Maiden. Otherwise, don't go to any of those.

The wife and I will be at the Empty Bottle on Saturday night, 7/17... to see Best Coast. We fell in love with them via YouTube.
Already have our tickets, so we will definitely be there.

I was going to attend this festival but had to change my plans. I was able to sell my tix for Sat/Sun but still have my Friday ticket. If it doesn't sell by Monday you can have it if you want it. Let me know.

hey guys, thanks for all of the offers and advice

:rockbanana:

wenchlette, I guess I'm just not a fan of what Tom Petty is doing today. I like his older stuff but I'm fairly confident that he'd be pretty boring live in concert. Even the addition of the Drive By Truckers, who I think are alright, doesn't really sway me.

Z, I didn't know about the aftershows. I'm going to look into this, especially if I can catch LCD Soundsystem in a small club somewhere if that's even possible.

thisotherkingdom, I've always wanted to see Iron Maiden. This might be one of my last chances, eh?

Poptodd, I haven't heard heard of this band so maybe I'll check them out. I see that there's a link in the twenty ten thread.

POD and dreaded marco, I would be interested in an extra ticket if you're offering and its still available.

Most of the after-parties are for smaller bands or bands that aren't on the lineup but are of interest to those going to the fest. LCD just played METRO in Chicago which is a 1,000 cap club, so I don't think they'd do a re-play of a club.

Fair enough. There are possibly three dates I could see him in August and wasn't able to get any off which was a huge disappointment. He's on my "must see" list.

Note: The Pitchfork ticket for Pavement isn't mine, just know a friend with an extra. He bought it for his sister who moved, so he's trying to recoup.
