Today: Driving to Centre, AL to start a new campaign. 3 hours there, 3 hour meeting, 3 hours home...while the wife and baby and in laws head to the beach. Probably stop for some Road Beers around 6PM, head home and sleep in peace.

Tomorrow: Meet them at the beach...blech

Sunday: Drive home with baby, as wife goes to ATL for a conference. Me and the boy for 3 days and nights.

[obligatory Loog response]Cool, thanks for the invite to the place I've never seen. Yeah, "friends".[/response]

Tonight: Not a damn thing. Grilling some chicken for FemDerris and I. Maybe go see "Inception" if we're up for it but who am I kidding. I've got "Public Enemies" dvr'ed so that's the back up plan.

Saturday: Sleep in. Maybe go for run in the park. If weather permits, hit the pool for a bit. Got some friends moving back to Atlanta who should arrive late afternoon. Most likely help them with whatever they need and they're crashing with us that night until they can get their house settled. Probably go have some margaritas somewhere.

Sunday: British Open

Sort of like you going to Charleston or New Orleans every weekend, but never finding time to come see us?

Ol' gar is open for business. A New Orleans trip literally fell through tonight for that weekend.

I am sure you would LOVE to go to the beach with me and Femgar, the baby, and HER PARENTS.

Shit, I think I'm a better friend for NOT asking...

I'm knocking off work early and walking down the record store, then to the liquor store and then home to make some pizza and drink a pitcher of Rossi.

That pretty much covers the plans for the weekend. Carolyn Mark & NQ Arbuckle are playing an outdoor festival about an hour outside of town; I've toyed with the idea of going but realistically there's no way I'm gonna make it.

Tonight - debating whether to hit up John Doe & Exene Cervenka at The Gene Autry Museum. If I don't do that, it will most likely be couch plus good food plus Steinbrenner/Sheppard Tribute & Yankee Game plus catching up on tivo and netflix

Tomorrow - Tennis in the am followed by some beach plus possible AVP volleyball followed by Bordeaux Tasting in late afternoon. Probably have a good buzz from that and stumble somewhere for a steak dinner and more drinks/more wine.

Sunday - Probably more beach.

No kids this weekend so not much. Mostly catching up on sleep, reading, drinking, and chatting with a lady friend.

Gonna go see The Batusis tonight after happy hour with friends, plan on getting very drunk as there are going to be a few too many faces in the crowd this evening I would prefer not to talk to...spend tomorrow day visiting with my nephew in town then the evening drinking and carrying on with a lady friend and then try to catch up around the house after sleeping in on Sunday...probably do brunch before I get at all that.

They're playing a free show at Olympic Plaza tonight. I'll be going if the weather doesn't get too ugly.

Saturday I'm visiting my parents at their campsite. Steaks will be grilled.

Sunday I'll probably head down to the Calgary Stampede for some corn dogs and fireworks.

ran my longest run ever this morning. Am dreading the wife/baby getting home, as I'm sitting naked on the floor and am too tired to move.

might set up the projector/bedsheet in the backyard and invite the neighbors over to watch a movie/buy me beer later.

15 miles. the first 12 weren't so bad, and then after 13.1 I started thinking "wow I've never gone this far! and also, I should STOP".

Damn. Congrats.

That's a shitload of miles. I'm slowly making my way back after a stress fracture in April. Process is frustratingly slow.

good god, that sounds bad. I had some IT band issue that I labored with for 6 weeks or so until my wife showed me some miracle pigeon yoga stretch. Then it all clicked and I started making real progress.

I was down in Seacrest and Seagrove Thursday - Sunday. Good times with the fam', although I was taken to task about being a bad uncle and forgetting birthdays (I countered a "when are our birthdays" pop quiz from my middle niece with a mostly right answers and a "do you know when mine is?")
