i wasn't bowled over by the one track, but i liked it. hoping it's a grower. cuz i like some fleet foxes.

but i'm curious to see the other sounds they explore on this album, because an album full of this would be really exhausting.

Seconded on the "even better live" part of this assessment.

I think you might just be in the majority on that one, mcap. Personally, I find it absolutely dull and loathsome. I can hear the harmonies, but I don't hear the songs - which makes the CSNY comparison very apt.

I also like the sound a lot, but they only found a song (as Rads put it) a few times on that last album. The rest was pretty, but didn't go anywhere or do anything. Still I'm curious.

I don't dislike Fleet Foxes. I mean I find it perfectly pleasant if it I hear it in the grocery store or something. But nothing about it gets me excited to listen to it.

cocksuckers are charging almost 50 bucks for their show here...fuuuuuck that! I saw them in a place that holds maybe 100 people.
