I think Bort has mentioned these guys.

Classic retro power pop ala Len Price 3, so I'm sure there'll be some likers here.

yeah good stuff. obviously their sound is retro, i didn't know they were going all the way with these videos. "Change" and this song are my favorites.

I think it's pretty solid. Some stuff is pretty darn close to rip off/recycled territory, especially on the slower songs, but it's all very pleasant to my ears. FYI this is the same guy who was in Panic At The Disco, the band that brought us even more blatant Beatles worship.

Thanks for posting. I think prefer the simple, straightforward pop of his new group. If I want the more overwrought, Beatle type ripoff, I'll pull out the classic Kontiki - Cotton Mather. If I were a betting man, I'd say you have it too?

btw - do you have a good working link for YVeins?
The one I found on Majiska earlier has longs gaps at the end of every song.

I've heard misc. Cotton Mather but I don't think I've heard Kontiki in it's entirety. I remember looking into him when making my "Rubber Vibrations" mix.

Well crafted, produced, Beatles experimental side. Vocalist sounds like a morose Lennon.

Btw - this record is #26 on the Top 200 Power Pop Records from John Borack's, Shake Some Action: The Ultimate Power Pop Guide book
