tonight the wife and i will be drinking vodka while reupholstering our dining room chairs. not sure on the soundtrack for the evening yet.

tomorrow i've gotta get up early though so i can wait in line for U2 tickets like the sucker i am.

Other than that, not much. Still by myself, so I'll probably throw some movies on. I'm good company, I wish there was more of me.

Yeah, basketball all day. Haven't made plans for the night though. Most likely do something lame like catch a movie.

I'll be in Pennsylvania this weekend, visiting family.

I've got a reclining chair, two cans of beer, a bottle of cough syrup, a packet of salted peanuts and a whole load of CD's.

Probably one of the least exciting Obnerian Friday nights but you can only work with the materials you've got.

if not for the fact that i was hopelessly addicted to gran turismo 4 i would be watching basketball. its like crack. so addictive.

Tonight: More than likely going straight to bed because we completely spent from last night.

Saturday: It's supposed to be damn near 80 degrees around here so I may head to the lake and gorge myself on food and drink and listen to some tunes while sunning myself on a boat like a walrus. Oh, and basketball.

Sunday: More of the same. Head back Sunday around 4-ish.

Many parties this weekend, so just takin' it easy tonight with a light buzz starting in bout 1.5hrs.

I shall be meeting with the Chief of Police tonight in preparation for my City Council election. Am dressed in one of my best "professional looking" suits with a proper blouse underneath showing a bit of décolleté (stealing from dnorwood) for the proper first impression. I do believe alcohol will be involved.

Later tonight, drunken posting and song listening. And if my DSL is up, song snatching.

Dunno, probly have to buy my lady some dinner or something. Thank god contradiction posted that fiona apple--im gonna burn it and take a copy to her work---i figure that should buy me what I really want---peace and quiet to watch basketball and drink myself into a fine stupor.

I need to do some yard work too......We'll see.

first step of official business for today: recuperate from hangover from last night.

second step of official business for the weekend: do laundry, clean the apt (it looks like a tornado ran through it), and catch up on studying & write a stupid paper i have due next week.

third step of official business: hang out w/the girls this weekend. probably go dancing tonight, and tomorrow gonna catch up w/an old gf i haven't seen in awhile. no boys, don't feel like dealing with their unnecessary bullshit.

I need to do this to my kitchen chairs; I'm not real up on "buying fabric" or whatever though. Hmmm. Must be nice to have a wife sometimes. My gf won't go near anything like that.

Four hours of sleep, nothing to eat in 24 hours.

For some reason the Guinness seems more effective than usual today.

My boss just left the office for the day, and I'm planning on soaking up more basketball tonight, while following the Terri Schiavo nonsense. That's all.

Oh yeah, when I got home there was a case of Cafe Britt sitting on the stoop. Big plus.

i have to work LATE, til at least 8pm tonite or maybe even midnite. that royally SUCKS.

however, i was allowed a late entrance. came in at noon. don't mind sleeping in on a work day.

haha, I actually picked out and bought the fabric, came home and surprised her. she'd mentioned it once or twice, so i said what the hell. was real easy to do man. it was only the seat cushion 'cause the back is wood.

i live in the antique district of west palm beach, so there are textile stores everywhere. you can get lost in the options.

Probably drinking in the haight, and then resuming my usual spot on my friend's couch.
