I noticed these albums mentioned in the NP thread.

I rather liked the 'Not The Way' EP Cass McCombs put out a couple of years ago, so I kind of interested to hear opinions on the new album.

Edan, well I've only heard one track (on a Rough Trade compilation album from a couple of years ago) but I really liked it, even although it was goofy and stupid and still pull it out from time to time. The track was called 'You Suck', was it their high water mark or is the new album similar?

The new Cass McCombs is alright. I don't like it as much as A or Not The Way but it's decent and I haven't had it that long anyways.

I like Edan but some of his stuff can be dumb like Paul Barman and some stuff sounds really awesome. I have some of his stuff on Soulseek if you want. Migraine (Almighty Dust Mix) is really good.
