I wanted an album as great as the debut album from Wild Nothing, and DIIV (shitty name aside) have delivered. Perfect summertime drives music.

Listen to it more than once. Real Estate did this better last year, and with less 80s post-punk pastiche. The album doesn't get better than that single, in fact they try 12 times on one album. I'll agree that there are some quality, listenable tracks on it, but as an album it leaves me bored after a while.

exactly. Lots of good guitar lines and decent amount of "mood", but nothing that truly sticks with the listener.
