It's time for a thread about these guys. I've liked their albums, chuckled at their videos, but finally saw them live a few weeks ago at Bumbershoot and they totally blew me away. The music was great, but it was accompanied by so much onstage anarchy that it had me either staring in awe or laughing hysterically. They often get compared to the Darkness, but it's the Darkness armed with a good joke (and better songs). Plus there's a streak of Andy Kaufman-level fuckery going on that makes the whole beast even more awesome.

Best live band I've seen in... maybe ever. Anyone else see them? If not, get thee to the church.

I bought it a few months ago. I really love it, at least most of it. There's an obvious wink and a nod going on but they're pouring their heart in it while funning. It is flat out honest rock, a little glam, a little sauce. Like "what you want to hear as the plane is in a nose dive" or something like that.
