So far, his set has gone like this:
Pavement - Cut Your Hair
Oasis - Champagne Supernova
Blur - Coffee & TV
Beck - Devil's Haircut
Nirvana - Lithium
Kid Cudi - Day and Night

Digging it.
And no, I did not pick out any of the music -- it's all him.

Classic rock. To him, stuff from the 90s is the same as stuff from the 70s was to me while in high school in early 90s. Also, a radio station at a high school? Never heard of that

Yup.
Our H.S. is pretty big and has a lot of cool programs. Hell, he can even get his PILOT'S license through the school once he turns 16. Yeah, they have aviation classes. It's fucking nuts.

They probably have rules against the family of on air staff winning prizes in contests, Todd, so don't even think about it.

The middle school band in our school district has played "Crazy Train" and "Carry On Wayward Son". Lucky bastards. Hippest thing my band played was Chameleon by Herbie Hancock.

goddamn, I did a radio show when I was 16 and opened with Cut Your Hair...

In college, radio was my main thing, its where I met most of the friends I kept in touch with, its how I made connections for work after school, hell I even banged a couple of fellow music directors from other schools.

I hope my future child turns out like this.
