Did you pick up DC Countdown or the latest Batman with Redhood?

I have'nt gottent yet, but if you have, what did you think?

I got the them today but haven't read them yet. I usually put them in a specific order so I go from sort of lame books to totally awesome books. That Infinite Crisis is up next and Batman is somewhere else down the line.

I did read that Outsiders issue today, and the one before it so I could figure out what was going on. The new issue is decent and has a pretty good ending. I don't want to ruin it for you though.

is the new outsiders the one with Slade posing as Batman? I read that yesterday, a title i've never picked up before.

Who is writing the Crisis storyline? I thought Identity Crisis was one of the best stories on the big 2 that 'veI read last year, probably in the last couple. Of course a bestselling author scripting sometimes helps.

i don't know how to feel about the whole red hood thing. if the joker has a twin brother or some shit i'm gonna be pissed.

geoff johns, greg rucka & judd winick are writing it. there's a bunch of different artists on it. i just kind of peeked at the back page by accident and it's kind of a shocker.

i thought identity crisis went downhill after the battle with deathstroke.

is it wrong that i hate judd winick solely because of his real world appearance ad subsequent "Pedro and Me" book?

Identity Crisis id go down slightly after that, but then i usually think team books suck ass, so for the JLA is was still above par.

Cotton..It's not wrong to hate on Judd..I put Batman down after he took over based on the fact he was such an ahole on the real world...I won't even give him a chance...

I really want to hate that douche Judd too but he's done some good work on Green Arrow and Batman.

DC Countdown was great. I had a feeling that Beatle was going to die. That sucks...I always liked him. I thought there would have been more Batman in the story. Guess i'll have to wait for him got get revenge for the mindswiping the jla did to him later (bastards).

As for the new Batman issue....eh.
Just leave Jason Todd alone. I really wish they would'nt brought him back. I wonder what bullshit story line they are going to use for his resurrection.

The store i went to did'nt have The Outsiders, so i'll have to wait until next week to get it. I would like to see Deathstroke and Bats duke it out.

I cant wait for the new Green Lantern. So far, this story has been great.

i am so sick of jason todd. they've been aluding to this for like a year now and i just don't care. I hopo he gets killed again quickly.

that said, i'm actually enjoying the New Avengers so far. I love Bendis writing spidey because he's actually funny. I never thought i'd enjoy this book but so far it's been pretty sweet. but then now that wolverine has shown up in it i bet i stop caring in 3 issues.

the most excited i've been while reading a comic lately is the issue of the Punisher when he's in that russian missile silo and he fights that midget asian guy and swings him around by his leg bashing his head off of desks and such and then suddenly remembers that he's doing it in front of a little girl.

I don't think I've read a DC published superhero book in like 6 years. Wait, I did read that Azzarello Batman story, cause I like 100 Bullets. But that sucked, so I went back to not caring. Am I missing out on anything. There are so many friggin' Batman books and I don't know any of the writers.

The only traditional superhero comic I'm reading right now is Daredevil. Which is amazing. Bendis is good when he can be light and humorous like in Ultimate Spiderman, but Daredevil is to me his best stuff.

i think Powers has the edge there, but hey whatever does it for ya...
