billy g, where you been? How is that funky 18 corners album? I have looked at it before, but never made the plunge. Also, nice HAG pickup. btw, did you ever get into that Waylon album?

Senator, I dig the Waylon thanks. All the orders were online so I haven't heard any. Will report back in a week or so.

16 Corners is a good one, but if you can find it, the Desco stuff hits harder.

Haha, anthony hamilton is kind of out of place.

Oh and Funky 16 corners. It's rad. But I like other Stonesthrow/Now Again releases better.

This thread had fallen all the way to page 12 :(

So I had to pick something up. I got this:

Bryan MacLean "Ifyoubelievein"

ps: senator the funky 16 corners cd is pretty good. I don't think you'd regret picking it up if you see it again.

Billy, I've noticed you have a few Saw Doctors discs...how do you like them? I saw a show in Memphis a few years back that I thought kicked ass, but have never taken the time to search out any albums.

I own every Saw Doctors cd...I like 'em alot. Truth be told, the band is alot better with 6-10 guinesses in you, an irish car bomb or two, and a room or a field full of fellow fans singing along. Thats not to say that they aren't still enjoyable enough on disc just don't expect the magic of their live show.

billyg,

have you ever sponsored a "crate dig" session? DJs would probably flip their shit over all of your rekkids.

This thread looks like Kirk Degiorgio's Hall of fame section on his site.

I'm still digesting them. I think they are pretty good but not in the same league as Winter in America or Pieces of a Man.

Contradiction, it was $445 + tax & shipping of $55.

Just picked up these:
