Auburn alumni or not, dude was the MAN. Furthermore, i will postulate that Tecmo Bowl Bo Jackson, and not nhl live jeremy Roenick as is generally reported, is in fact the most dominating video game character of all time.

YAAAAAAAYEEEEEEYAAAAYYEEEEE!!

I was going to throw something up about this. Dude heard his name+steroids, and got his sue on.

I'm sure Moxie has some love for Bo as well. You grow up in KS, you gotta love the guy.

Bo was fucking awesome.

I'll get whole-heartedly behind the Tecmo Bowl invincibility.

The only sports memorablia I have is a Bo Jackson-signed mini helmet. I love this guy. My favorite athlete, ever.

You bet your bottom dollar I do. Still got the 'Black & Blue' poster to prove it. If that's not evidence enough, I'll take off my shirt, show you my superfluous nipple and the autographed '85 Topps Rated Rookie card I keep close to my heart, i.e. taped to my furry pec.

I flew to Atlanta in '89 on the same Delta flight as he. His mother recently passed, so I imagine the family couldn't grab a chartered Cessna. Anyhoo, Bo had the class (even with crying kids at his side) to sign my baseball card and my brother's forearm outside the terminal. Dude was huge, literally bursting out of his polo shirt. In the words of Velouria, 'I luff heem.' 'Roids or not.

Putting his money where Rafael Palmeiro and Ivan Rodriguez's mouths were?

I lend creedence to the contention that Bo didn't know doping, then... But, I maintain that it is not cut-and-dried. American courts -- not the best track record with celebrities. Bo could get the verdict, but not have been libelled, ever, actually.

Jus' sayin'.

That ad with his shirt off, and the baseball slung over his sholders maybe we question my 10 year old sexuality. Thank god for that swimsuit addition I got the next month.

Bo Knows Bo is on my shelves and has been read more than once...not in quite a few years, but nonetheless.

I also have his rookie cards in baseball and football, which I doubt are worth much

I remember driving up to Anahiem when I was a kid to watch them play the Royals. I was into the Royals when I was a kid, though it had more to do with Saberhagen than Bo. Anyway, it was like the dude would swing at anything but whenever he made contact it went out.

Bo still rules. If he has a decent doctor, we're talking about him being the most celebrated athlete ever. And by God, he was the glue that held the Pro-Stars together. Whenever Wayne was distracted by food or Michael by gambling, Bo was there. Plus, the dude single-handedly ended Brian Bozworth's NFL career.

As a young, caucasian, multi-sport playing adolescent, I read this book cover to cover:
Image

I had a Bo Jackson LA Raiders hat that I wore until it fell apart, and a Bo Knows Diddley shirt that was given away to Goodwill. He WAS the BEST player on Super Tecmo bowl. Completely invincible (attempted tacklers bounced like a deadbeat dad on alimony payday). I know I have some of his rookie baseball/football cards at my parents house, and have his Beckett cover issue. Dude was my idol. I was too young to know he'd played for AU, so I grant myself immunity from any "traitor to UGA" talk my worship may bring.

Was Montana the 4th Pro Star? I seem to remember there being 4?
