I cannot believe it took humans so long to 'discover' the sandwich. There is nothing better on this earth than a well-made sandwich. I got the eclectic tastes, lovin the world food, whatever. But damn, a sandwich? Nothing better. Nothing. Seriously.

Jimmy Johns Ham & Swiss with Dijon mustard. Add jalepeno chips to sandwich. Nothing else. No sandwich compares.

If only the Earl of Sandwich would've had the prescience to change his title to the Earl of Samwich. The world would be a better place.

At the risk of sounding like a slightly classier Jared Fogle, I'll take Panera over Quiznos. They gots some good shit over there.

Anyone here seen the PBS show called "Sandwiches You Will Like"? Absolute genius. No telesvision ad or show has ever made me hungrier.

Seen it, love it. I made my own version of "The Elvis" for about a year. My recipe:
2 slices Arnold's 7-grain
Jif PB on both slices
sliced banana
honey
butter the outside of both slices
throw on Foreman grill.

DAMN!!

Another few of my favorites:
Goldie's Deli in Nashville
"The Triple Treat"
Corned Beef, Salami, Pastrami on whole wheat w/ a little mayo and Dijon mustard. Yessir.

The "Americano" at Cafe Coco here in Nashville ain't bad either.

There used to be a sub-shop on Baxter in Athens, GA called Subworks. It was there for my Freshman year ('97) only. Used to get hot ham, provolone, mushroom sammich. Still my favorite sub I've ever eaten. They couldn't afford the rent, so now it's a Papa John's.
