not a lot of it, but enough that i can probably justify the molestation of kids later on in court. pretty sweet. i mean is this the most asstarded legal strategy ever?

The funny thing about debt is that if I had even $1000.00 of credit card debt, I would be shitting my pants; On the other hand, I have a massive mortgage and it doesn't bother me in the least....

yeah there's definitely different kinds of debt, credit cards being the tool of the devil.

yes. they are. the worst part is i got all the way through college without ever having a spot of debt on a credit card. three years of shitty jobs, however, did not grant me the same benefit.

this is true. i've got pals from school with 20k debts stemming from coke problems, so i don't really sweat it much. at least i did stuff like pay rent and buy food with mine. and an ipod.

still, having credit card debt is getting infinitely worse every day in this country. It's of little consequence that a very small portion of it is helping charities.

If you really wanna learn about debt, try living in a place with a 24 hour bar with an ATM machine that gives cash advances on credit cards while you're keeping up a nice drug habit.

About 30 grand later, I woke up and figured out that it's not such a good idea.

I have about £400 in the bank and I owe about £600 so if the worst comes to the worst it's only about 10 blowjobs I'll have to give.

A blowjob goes for twenty pound in the UK? What is that, 35$US? Sign me the f up (for giving head -- ten a day, five days a week, mean 1750$US or about what I make per month between the office and the cineplex).

I suspect you may be overestimating the level of demand for your, um, services, Monty.

How in the hell did you swing an 80% downpayment? I wish I could do that. I've been contemplating purchasing a house and it's going to take me a hell of a long time just to save up 10%.

the funny thing is I am probably not going to practice law. my wife already has an extremely demanding and high paying job so I figure if we are going to start a family, me working 60 hours a week isn't a good idea. plus I don't really want to work 60 hours a week and be a law firm slave.

So I am probably going to stay with my current company but in a different position.

plus I have 2 years to go - I go part time so it takes 4 years.

debt is why i am in self imposed exile (atleast until July)

Not bad, just wanna knock it out.

Nobody -- that may sound bad, but at least you have a ton of good times you don't remember.

I wish I had a great story of high flying wheeling and dealing, business deals, drug running and stuff, but frankly.....I was left money when my mom passed away....forogt the specifics of why I didnt just buy my apartment outright, my financial people at the time, thought it would be good for me to develop more credit by having a mortgage...good for my future...as well as the tax break and stuff......

i owe about 5K to various creditors. terribly good times, living in an area this expensive.

if i could figure out a way to clear that 5K off my balance sheet by October, i would be so psyched.
