i'm not much of a music snob at all but i can't stand sitting through crap bands. when i went to see super furry animals i had to hang out through a set by boom bip (i know...some people like him here) and i wanted to kill myself.

I know that their album is supposed to be disappointing.
But I played a show with them a few years ago and they were AMAZING.

Go see them.

me? I have to admit a guilty pleasure Geek Love for Apollo Smile. "Let's Rock" from the Lost Angels soundtrack was terrif, and "Theme For All Nations" was pretty interesting psudo-acid jazz back in the day. But Still I should be embarrassed to actually admit it here.
