You lightweight, two eight hour days are nothing....just kidding. What kind of speeds can you drive up there? Is it treacherous or what?

where i was going was flat and straight. no police, so i didnt have to worry about speeding. i averaged about 110-120 kph (about 68-75 mph). and all paved. (you know youre from the north if youre happy that all the roads are actually paved and not gravel :D )

Nice, sounds like a good trip....that's why I was so happy to hit Manitoba. Flat and straight is much better than hills and corners. I was managing that speed (120) for a good 800 km or so.. I was actually curious what it's like driving far north, in terms of geography and road quality.
