At what age do you actually start using that thing to store vegetables. I don't think I've ever used it for anything but beer. Just wondering. :drink:

i use mine, only because my wife demands it. :)

last year, i actually left veggies in there on accident during the hurricane. we had no power, so they sat in there for 12 days, rotting in the hot Florida heat. it smelled like a corpse when we entered our home, and had to wash the bin like 10 times to get the stench out of it.

in there now:

3 peppers [1 green 2 red]
4 vidalia onions
small bag habeneros
1 snickers [wtf...????]

I use it for beer because I'm not supposed to drink beer and my wife never looks in it because it involves bending down, something she's philosophically opposed to when it comes to refrigerators.

I've found that the "humidity" control on mine actually keeps the spinach that I buy, eat one salad out of, and then forget about, from getting nasty for at least an extra week.

Yeah, I actually keep vegetables in mine (where else would they go?)

Edit: A funny thread would be for everyone to post a picture (MTV Cribs style) of the inside of their refrigerators. I'm sure some folks probably have some funny shit on the ouside as well......
