Go figure.

Now I feel a distinct urge to drink.

It sucks... especially if you were with her for some time, maybe even longer than her soon to be husband. I remember when I read about my former gf getting married and I wasn't in a happy place. Just remember that her bullshit will show up soon enough. My state has an online database of "public offenders". I visit it often. 10 years later, I see that my old girlfriend (I went off to college) who married a guy 4 years older than me (I was 2 years older than her) had placed a restraining order against her.

That made me feel good. The bitch was crazy. Best fucks I ever had tho.

One time, this time, that time, will always be, let it go, good for her.

How 'bout good for you!
It's Phil time and Gina time, and you're on. And, everyone prior fades to a welcome memory, happy run-in, and occassional, "I spent some important moments with so and so." It all rests like childhood memories.

Yeah, Gina and I... She took the ring off a few weeks ago. I don't know what's up with us.

I don't know anything about her life anymore. We were together 3 years, and I was a year older, and when I went to college, she ended up fucking a few of my friends.

I hardly ever give her a second thought, it's been a decade. I just think it's hitting home due to other circumstances in my life.

I wrote a whole bunch of stuff and then just deleted it. Don't know you well enough, don't have enough info and generally don't know what the hell I'm talking about.

I am sorry to hear you're going through a weird time with your present gal though

Doesn't help much, but cheer up. Like most things, whatever weird feelings your're having regarding your x will pass.

I am off to go jump out of a plane.... and I'm not even depressed!

Steve

Whatever, you can always look at that dude and think, "I banged your wife"

And he always look at you and wonder what kind of depraved shit that you were up to. And how he stacks up.

It is time for some booze and loud gangster rap though for you my friend....

Time Heals All Wounds is the biggest amount of bollocks ever. This shit stays with you for the rest of your days.

i really can't relate to this (really just want those girls unfortunate enough to have crossed paths with me to be happy, except for this current one, she's made her bed) but i've seen a lot of guys go through this so i'm with you in spirit.

sorry man, foot in my mouth. for me anyways, past relationships will always stay in my mind and i relish it for better or worse. sorry about the troubles, but you don't get yourself down by doing some "where am i in my life" comparison with an "Ex." gets you nowhere.

If you see the guy make sure you give him that I banged your wife before you look that Yail talked about.

Other than that, things like this suck. I want to echo Trevor's remarks that you are in my thoughts and prayers, and usually shit works out for the best in the end (I know that doesn't mean anything right now).

Ha! Mine told me he was proposing to someone else right after I flew to another country and we had just finished fucking. But you guys know that story already.

Phil, things will work out between you and Gina. You've sacrified a lot to be with her and I'm positive she's aware of that. I too am sending positive vibes your way. And, when I'm personally in Chicago next month, I'm giving you a great big hug!

the ex is the ex.
follow your heart and instincts.
your head keeps telling you what you "should" do--what the "right" thing to do is.
you do not need to "settle" at this point.
love ya,
l

That might've been fun. Last I heard she has an inoperable brain tumor.

Gotta admit I don't quite get what the problem is. Like Ayah said "the ex is the ex." Let it go.

Makes me think back to when my first long-time gf got married. I was sitting there watching the ceremony - with her all dressed in white and looking absolutely radiant and the groom goofy in love - and thinking "man, the things I did to your wife..." Of course, I showed admirable restraint and didn't wack it right there in the pew.

Holy shit do i have the hangover of my life.

And i didn't even start drinking till 6 a.m.

I was working the door at Estelle's and shit got crazy, it's a bar that's quite literally around the corner from The Double Door with a capacity of 97 and a license that allows them to serve till 4:30.

In the hour from 5 to 6 a.m. unwinding with the staff, I managed to tear one off. I went to let Sadie out just now, and found a to go box with a waffle, 3 strips of bacon, and some scrambled eggs from Cozy Corner. I have a vague memory of puking like I was an extra in an Adam Sandler movie and then leaving an 8 dollar tip for a 6 dollar meal.

And Angie wasn't even the motivation for tearing one off. Working door makes you a worn out sonuvabitch.

My body's real sore, and i'm wondering what the hell else I did to it.

I'm also wondering how soon until i can show my face in my favorite diner.

OH SHIT, i remember tripping over something and taking a real hard dive underneath the blue line tracks on my way out of estelle's. Damn that hurt. I just laid there for a couple minutes like i'd been hit by Rosie Grier.

I just found a huge raspberry on my elbow. I have a feeling i'm gonna find some more when I shower, and that it's gonna sting.

Regardless, even though I physically feel like shit, i feel much better about Angie. Fuck that hoe, everybody else has, but I was first in line.

-p
