My boss let me out early (3:30pm) today. It took me over 2 hours to get home in fuckin' horrible Friday afternoon traffic. Thanks for letting me out early, now you know why I stay after hours.

That check I found for $3600? I was informed today that the reason my former employer haven't reissued it is because I owe them $5000. Uh...WHAT?! Of course, they couldn't give me an explanation as to what I owe them for (A/P Manager was out). They've never sent me any sort of correspondence requesting the money which immediately makes their story fishy. That prompted me to go in search of old expense report copies (sometimes it pays to be a packrat) and found expenses totalling almost $10K which invalidates their excuse of me owing them 5 grand. I mean, c'mon, if I owed that kinda money, why wasn't it applied towards my expenses? Monday morning, New Jersey is receiving a phone call. Bastards.

My Lollapalooza tickets that were shipped on July 7th have yet to arrive and may be lost.

It's hot.

Who's drinking with me?

Tomorrow I'm leaving for London, Ontario with my girlfriend to visit her family for her birthday. It's going to be in the 90's with the humidity like 200%. If I don't post anymore it's because I've melted.

I could use a beer.

Awesome. There's even dirt on the can. How appropriate.

Apparently I've gone back in time to the mid to late 1990s.

Oy, my old home town. You got any plans while you're there? Take a cruise down Platts lane for me, will you?

They definitely have AC, but it will still be hard to take coming from the dusty prairies.

No big plans, except for a party on the 19th. I've never been to that part of Southern Ontario before, but that's where my gf is from, so I'm sure I'll get the tour.

You said it already, it's hot as hell usually. UWO is pretty nice, I lived around there. Good places to eat and drink downtown, if yr gf is from the town she obviously knows where to go. I always liked London because of the trees, it being the Forest City and all.

I had one beer but I'm so fucking tired from this day and from boiling out at that Harry Potter thing that I went to with my son, that I'm done for the night and heading to bed early.

Blah.

Hope your evening and weekend get better T.
