cool. what's really freaky is setting up a "reminder" type voice mail through your phone. You record a message, and the phone co. saves it and rings you up in a few days or whatever. Make your voice sound really urgent. It wil freak you out when the phone rings and it's you from the past on the other end. It's so 12 monkeys.

i used to work at an answering service.....and the voice mail system they used there would do that.

you could program it to call other people at certain times too.

i used to have it call friends houses that i was already at.
the phone would ring and i'd be sitting right there.

yet.... i'd be on the phone.

On a free, Zionistic, Jews-only trip to Israel just before I moved to Montreal a few years ago, the organizers had us write a letter to ourselves in the future, which they mailed to us at a later date. I was surprised and delighted when it arrived, and found it to be quite meaningful. Needless to say, I've e-m'd myself here, and think it's a decent idea.
