not really, just a little bored at work waiting my early leave to boston for a few days.

"bang bang rock and roll" sounded fresh on first listen, but doesn't grab me as much anymore with its repetitive lyrics and not-the-most-challenging arrangements.

"x&y" is cementing its lackluster pleasant-but-blah standing.

"multiply" is growing on me more'n'more. soulful grooves, brutha.

(fly like a bird gurl, to the sea, men.)

Choose Atlanta over LA... much more affordable, and you get the same smog and traffic as LA. ;)

i would choose LA over ATL - not saying anymore so we don't get into any more city flame wars.

if portland's weather today was how it is everday, there would be 10 million people living here. thankfully the 6 months of rain keep most pansies away.

my wife loves Portland now and she grew up in Durham, NC where it is hot as fuck. now she would never move back but it did take her a year or two.

plus we don't have to go to any tractor pulls or lawnmower races anymore.

I completely agree. I liked a few tracks the first time I listened, but then grew complacent. Coldplay is quickly becoming the Celine Dion of the 30something alterna-crowd.

I have nothing to add, but this seems like a good thread to mention that.

I've almost caught SPoet! Damn this house work, I'd have had her a week ago.

both countertops are in, new sink is mounted, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and new tub fixtures are in. Yet I do not feel fulfilled...

Nobody ever hated L.A. enough, though, that they burnt it to the ground.

Jus' sayin'...

... Meanwhile, those fires in L.A. - just (ir)rational exuberance. Nothing more. Nothing to see.
