So far it's one of the funniest episodes I've seen.

Stewie: Shawshanking their way to your balloon knot.

That killed me.

They're really ranking on Meg this season.

Too funny.

on more than one occasion i've seen Family Guy blatantly recycle a Simpsons joke...that kinda puts me off watching it.

Saw the movie that will be released on DVD this Sept at the Just for Laugh comedy fest this weekend and lemme tell ya it is funny funny shit. Alot of unbleeped swearing for one which cracked me up and just seeing it with a crowd on a giant movie screen was a great thing to behold.

The new season has been great, especially the last few episodes.

The movie is available online if you know where to look. It doesn't come out on DVD for a couple of months, and is going to be fairly pricey, but I'll probably buy it anyway.

It was fun, even though the weather was as gross as I had expected it to be.

I wish we had planned the trip better. We just missed the folk festival they had, and because we left to go to Calgary's Folk Festival we missed Martha Wainwright playing with Loretta Lynn.

Yeah, I was talking to some friends who have said it's just horrible down there right now. That sucks about missing Martha AND Loretta...damn.

Okay, so do you know where to look for the movie online? If so, how about hittin' a brother up via PM. Thanks.

i'm shocked that nobody's mentioned the hilarious "take on me" parody from last week's episode. that's probably the best thing i've seen on "family guy" yet this season.

That was funny, but nothing is going to trump that ipecac contest.

I just find it hilarious how badly Meg is gettting it from everyone. If they're not kicking her out of the house or throwing her out of a boat, then guys are engaging in self-mutilation and/or screaming once they look at her.

So I go there, and download their .exe, and then try to load the torrent, and it tries for a bit, I see something not unlike progress, and then it's gone. Now I have a file with the right kind of name saved where I told it to, but it's a BitLord file, only 27k, and doesn't do anything when opened (gives a message saying "Torrent Task Existed!" and shows an info screen about the download, but I'm fucking lost.)

Que?!

P.S. I don't like downloading exe's, and I also notice that though nothing's going on on-screen, something sure as hell is hogging bandwidth. I turned sharing off.

Edit: I will forward a guess, which is that it's trying to download the file in the background...?

i think it took a couple of episodes for it to settle in to it's previous hilarious form. But i agree, the last month's worth of episodes have been great.

it's too bad that 'american dad' is such a travesty.

i really can't find anyone who likes that show.

Waited about 30 minutes, was 0.7% downloaded, bailed.

I found out about it on a private torrent site, but I downloaded it from the alt.binaries.dvdr newsgroup. You can try The Pirate Bay.

i'd have to say that this season has been relatively consistent. the first episode really put my fears to rest that the show would be tamed down or would lose some of the magic.

my only major gripe is that too many of the jokes they've used made reference to previous arbitrary moments of hilarity that made the show so great to begin with, i.e. - the blaccuweather forecaster, the chicken fight, and for whatever reason, the greased up deaf guy in several episodes.

still, i'm glad it's been mostly good.

God I hate Stewie. What a deadweight character. I don't think I've ever laughed at one of the gags involving him. I can't understand the love for him.

I still love FG since Peter more then makes up for him.

Wow. I don't understand how you can even sorta like this show with out liking Stewie. I mean Peter's character if funny but...

Whatever, to each his/her own. :?
