 Post subject: NMR: Help from those who burn DVD's on their computer

Hey

Please PM me if ya burn DVD's via your computer.

I gotta a burner, bunch a blank DVD's, and the DVD Shrink Program.

I am able to rip the dvd's to my hard drive, then transfer them to the DVD-R disk.....

but then my computer nor, either of my dvd players will recognize it.....One of my DVD players is new enough to be able to play burned DVD's.

what me doing wrong?

besides stealing movies, wise guys...

Format -- it's not just burning files to DVD, it is supposed to have a specific format. I think you need a DVD-burning program that specifically burns movie DVDs.

yeah he's right. you're using the dvd-rs as a medium to store large files instead of authoring them into the video_ts and audio_ts folders and what have you.

dvd shrink does break them up into the video_ts folders and audio_ts folders as well.

dvd shrink doesnt burn, it just rips. You need nero to burn.

wait, maybe Toast doesn't exist for PC. I dunno. Nero always gave me problems, though.

it has for me..

i would 'open disk' and rip the files from the dvd to my hard drive...

then i 'open the files' and make the DVD Burning dsrive, the destination drive....

perhaps something isa happeneing there...

bout to give DVD-X a try...
