So I saw that Dead Can Dance was coming within two hours of my house, so I went to Ticketmaster to try to see when and where tickets were going on sale...only to find out that they're $55-75 each. And I looked at their tour schedule, and they're only playing huge theaters, no smaller venues.

I'm a fan of the band, so don't get me wrong....but they aren't THAT popular are they? I can't even imagine them selling out a 1500-people sized venue with tickets at $20 each.

I mean, I would like to see them in concert too but not at that price unless they were settting up in my backyard and were performing the songs I would want them to play. And maybe have them cook dinner for me to boot.

If I had some friends that wanted to go, I MIGHT be able to put down $55...if I was in a REALLY "what the fuck" kind of mood...but I don't even know anyone that's into them. I bet they put on a good show, though...but I just can't do it for that price.
