Geez!
So I am the VP of my Nieghborhood Watch (don't go there, I know) and we are having a block party on the 11th. I was going to get my volleyballin' bartender to plan the event but he's being a primadonna this week.
Someone tell me how the teams are set up, how entry fees work, etc. I am not a sports guy. Once the event is going, my next door nieghbor will handle the tournament (he has a lighted court in his front yard, he knows)

To answer your next question ahead of time, the neighbor can't do the preplanning, he's under 80ft of water as a dive master all week.

Help, I need to this info fast this morning, and google was useless...

I'd say have the particpants organize teams of however many (3, 4, 8, whatever) and pay as a team (whatever your costs are divided by teams)... what are your costs anyways? Then just set up an elimination chart...

Exactly.

Is it "alter" or "altar"? Just looked, it's "altar".

I was brought up (Russian) Orthodox (Christian).

i also got kicked out of a catholic high school. they couldn't handle me. ;)

I have some vinyl back in Atlanta by a band called the Cocktail Girlz. They did a song called "Artsy Chicks," and the chorus went something like, "Oh... how... I love those.... ART CHICKS!" ;)

edit: good God, I found an old (very bad) video for the song!

Henry Winkler once got mad at me in a bar because I kept accidentally referring to him as "Arthur."

My friend slept with a girl because she had cable in her dorm. He went there the next three nights after he slept with her the first time and just watched Sox games then left.
