HAHAHA.

didn't like that episode at all. tony doing that to his "caretaker" at the end was totally unnecessary.

what's up with meadow? something's up with her.

and what happened to vito. i want answers now.

That gay bar scene with Vito was the stupidest shit I've seen in a long time, even stupider than when "The Wire" had Rawls sitting in the background in the gay bar.

Yeah, something interesting better happen with this subplot, because that was really silly. Dumb cartoon.

Who didn't laugh at Vito in the bar? Hilarious, but yea, there has been too many bad, random sub-plots this season. Is this show really that good anymore? I dunno.

The Vito thing has been playing out for a while, and I think it will be interesting to see what happens..and who aligns himself with to help or hurt whomever else, now that he is pretty much assured no seat at any table.

The wedding was new-school mob schmuck...these dudes aren't high class, they're goombas.

Oh, and the Tony beating the shit out of Muscles Marinara, while a bit weird the way he did it, was needed for him to regain control..."People see only what you let them." Now folks is on noticed he ain't's ta be fucked wit'

it seems that every episode keeps leading to more and more, so i'm hoping the next episode will reveal what they've been building up.

i have this feeling... it's gonna get crazy soon. it has to. they can do better than this.

I took the Vito thing the same way, it's been building towards something. There was only one way to resolve the introduction of that plot which was someone discovering Vito's closeted life. I thought Finn's discovery of Vito was way more shocking and believable (i.e. completely accidental) because Vito was indulging himself in relative privacy and Finn just stumbled upon the work site at the wrong time. But since nothing came of that, there had to be someone else finding Vito in a compromising position. If we consider that Vito has dropped all this weight and is feeling rather good about himself it follows that maybe he has decided to start taking more chances with his secret. I thought it was a bit over the top with the leatherboy bit, but was still consistent with recent changes in character.

All in all, I liked the episode and its dealing with dominance and weakness. Heh, even my wife was agreeing with Phil Leotardo about Johnny Sack's crying.

GOD I'm tired of not being able to read this thread because I haven't watched an episode this season!

I need cable.

People have taped every episode for me except the first one, so I can't start watching yet. FUCK!

And the Sack weakness vis-a-vis Tony collapsing leads to Tony's beatdown...

I will say that every episode this year, though, I have been thinking "This is when the big shit will go down" and it has yet to happen...can't wait til next week.

and Big Love keeps pulling me in.

That scene between Johnny Sac and Tony at the oldie table was priceless.

and Chrissy's Allegra comment was the funniest line of the year, without a fuckung doubt.

I'm only wondering how long it takes for Carmela to cap someone.

I feel the same way, I start getting all anxious about half way through the episode wondering if something THIS is when it's all going south for someone, and then it doesn't. And then I can't wait until next week.

I'm liking Big Love as well. Those degenerates are really entertaining.

It was even funnier because my roommate said the exact same thing right before Moltisanti did. Then he brought up the Godfather connection a few scenes before Moltisanti brought it up to Tony.

The old farts table was incredible.

I also think they should have let Frankie Valli be the wedding singer.

So did I.... the Vito scene was a bit over the top with the hat, but otherwise I was way into this episode. No one has mentioned the middle eastern guys who showed in the first episode of this season at the Bing and this week's episode looking for clean cells and credit card numbers. Me suspects that subplot will grow larger.

what was up with those guys again? i forgot what their deal was between chris. that kinda confused me.

when phil was talking shit on sac, i didn't like it. i thought it was effed up what the cops did... i mean, let the man see his daughter get married and have a good wedding.

but i think it was also a point to show more of the characters' weakness and the power struggles between everyone when one is at their weakest point.

seriously though, things need to start happening soon. i kept saying "oh next week it's going to go down!" and then it doesn't. or at least not yet.

I feel like this is very much a syndrome that has gotten worse and worse as the show's popularity has gotten more and more out of control. Now they KNOW we're just gonna sit here and wait for it...

plus, whenever something big tdoes go down, it's gonna be characters that have been on the show for 4+ years, not some guy they decided to give major screen time in the offseason only to have him die in the first episode...

agreed. the first episode was KILLER. who would've expected tony to get shot by HIS UNCLE? and dude offing himself?

it's still good writing even though the season is moving slow.

yeah, I feel like every season though I'm saying "some major characters gotta be dead by the end of the season, the way they're playing it..." and then there never is.

I swear, if this series ends with all of those guys still alive and skipping down the lane I'm gonna be PISSED.

I woke up this morning and couldn't for the life of me remember a thing about last night's episode other than Vito running away from those guys. I couldn't figure out if this was because I was drunk or because the episode was that boring. Then Crack told me he didn't remember any of it either. For a shortened season, this one sure has caught the suck....

This is a regular season; The shortened one isn't until Jan '07 or thereabouts.

I actually didn't think it was too bad last night, but for that being the halfway point I'm not posting high marks yet. I accidentally read a potentially horrible spoiler for next week's episode on another site.

yeah, i'm running out of patience with this season. i know the last few have taken their time in unfolding, and the payoff was well worth it. but they are going off on so many tangents that suck right now.

How gay was that town that Vito ended up in?

Pretty slow episode IMHO. Some fucking really shoddy acting, too.
