Pretty good pick. Dude has a lot of intangibles, and understudying to a dude like Trent Green should be good for him.

I was thinking that too. As opposed to a pretentious prick like Brett Favre (who publicly said that he wouldnt mentor his eventual replacement) I see Trent Green being the kind of guy who would embrace it.

Fifteen minutes until the 4th round begins.
It will be another glorious draft day.

Two of the last four picks have been QB's that have moved to RB.
The niners chose Michael Robinson of Penn State at #100 and Brad Smith of Mizzou went at #103 to the Jets.

I missed a crap ton of picks while showering and cleaning my kitchen.
Michigan finally had someone drafted with Gabe Watson drafted at 107. That is the longest it has taken a Wolverine to get drafted in quite some time.
The First PK was drafted by the Patriots, Stephen Gostkowski of Memphis.
The Bears picked Jamar Williams OLB from Arizona State at 120.

Anyone know what the trade the Eagles made with the Saints was? There is something on the Eagles website about them trading Hollis Thomas and Artis Hicks, but no other info.

I haven't heard anything about who has been traded for picks, except for the possible Joey Harrington deal to Cleveland for a few picks today.
I guess Harrington was given permission to seek out his own trade, and agreed to go to the Dolphins. Now, Millen is pissed about the deal and is willing to screw Harrington by taking picks in this draft.

Is anyone else actually watching this?
I think Marcus Vick looked like he should be on The Chapelle Show ala Rick James saying "Cocaine, It's a helluva drug".

Eagles take a risk and pick Jeremy Bloom from Colorado.
He is the World Cup Moguls Skier who ditched college ball to make endorsement money.

Yeah, just saw this on ESPN.com---I knew they would grab a guard early today after losing Hutchinson to the Vikes. Sounds like this guy is going to be a bit of a project, but has a lot of upside---probably applicable to most the picks today, I guess.

The Dawgs are up to four players drafted with CB Demario Minter selected by Cleveland.

The Dawgs are actually up to five picks, Safety Greg Blue was picked by Vikings a few spots ahead of Minter.

Two rounds left, Nebraska only has one player drafted.
I also thought there might be more D-II players picked today, but I think the guy from Bloomsburg and from North Dakota are it.

I can't believe that some of Ricky Williams teammates say some of his drug problems are due to his diagnosis with a Social Anxiety disorder.
He failed four test, three of which were for marijuana.

Greatest name of the draft so far:
Babatunde Oshinowo from Stanford, a DT drafted by the Browns.

A second kicker was drafted today by the Chargers, Kurt Smith of Virginia.

They were just discussing Reggie Bush's endorsement deals. He sure has more than the average first round pick does the day after they were drafted. It looks more and more like he and his family were making business deals while he was in college.

Teams taking QB's late in the draft now.
Bengals take Reggie McNeal from Texas A&M
Bucs take Bruce Gradkowski from Toledo

Georgia had another defensive player drafted with DT Kedric Golston drafted by the Redskins at #196.

It kills me how NC State, Ohio State and Georgia can have a ton of defensive players drafted, yet hardly any Offensive players. I guess that is why they aren't winnning titles.
