I've got one: people glaring at us in a friggin' pizza joint because we have our very happy baby with us, who is making very happy baby noises. This isn't some upscale pizza "dining experience" - it was Streets Of New York - and our little Amanda was having fun, making little squeals of delight like happy babies do. Two sets of people glared at us like we'd committed some awful sin - one couple in their late 40s/early 50s who seemed to be trying to have a romantic evening over pizza and soda and another older woman eating by herself and doing crossword puzzles. It wasn't even that much commotion - just random outbursts of "happy noise," not screaming and crying. However, I feel better knowing that these people's hearts are rotting inside, growing fungus where their compassion used to be.

<--- loves happy baby noises. keep up the good work.

I want to complain about 1 thing: ROOMMATES.

-the one time i decide i'm going to be good and try to sleep early due to 9:30am meetings every monday... i toss and turn for 2 1/2 hours because of loudass roommates and their friends. i first yelled "CAN YOU PLEASE KEEP IT DOWN" while their friends were talking loudly since i can hear everything in my room then an hour later... i hear a bunch of people stomping around and walking in my house at 1:30am and completely flipped out on everyone. i'm so not nice when i don't get enough sleep.

-also i have serious fleabites from a stupid cat that's not mine and i don't like cats at all. so now, the cat is outside but i specifically asked if we can get rid of the cat entirely since i'm allergic. and they don't listen.

tonight, time to have a little chat with everyone.

motherfuckers. :wavefinger:

Another vote for roomies... I recently had to go into the room of one of mine to turn off his (loud) alarm clock and I accidently discovered 3 of our regular cups/glasses FILLED WITH OLD WET HALF-SMOKED CIGARETTES, just sitting there soaking.

A couple of days later I saw one of the glasses back in the kitchen filled with dish detergent---i.e. ready to be put back into our regular drinking glasses cupboard.

Nastiest thing EVER.

i'm roommateless until sunday and although the apartment does smell slightly better and has been staying cleaner, i still get lonely without him there.

See, I really like living with my roomies (one is my bf, the other two good friends), it's just one of them (not my bf) doesn't have the same "cleanliness" ideas as the rest of us--he doesn't pull his weight at all with the housework. He does, however, buy very nice wines and shares them with us.

today's complaint: getting blamed for something you didn't do wrong - common misunderstanding. it seems no matter how hard i try and how well i do, someone will find something to pick at and blame me.

ugh.

Hands still not 100%

Bookstore wants booklist for class that doesn't start for a whole month. Like I have the faintest idea what I'm going to do with a bunch of freshmen.

Hot man that I've been dating won't put the moves on me. Keeps asking me out, must like me - but so coy.

you just made my leg itch. i hate cats so much.

I, too, hate cats. But my apartment doesn't have one...

Could complain, but everything keeps turning out to be a big wash for me... I've barely batted an eye after the bad news I got today. C'iest la Vie...

and, as far as roommates go, I don't think I've had one post-college that I didn't like. So, I've got that going for me, which is swell...

"why don't you clean this shithole?" haha, nudge nudge. maybe that'll work.

I delayed on booking flights for uni games for 1 day and it's cost me either $50 for my preferred flight times, or $80 for the cheapest option. That just cut into my drinking money

I have to start reading for the essay due the first day back after said uni games but really have no motivation for it at the moment even though I know if I get it written before I go I can get smashed and not worry about being too sick afterwards to write it when I get back

I have a flu that's hung around for 2 weeks now and is going to prevent me going on a harbour cruise tomorrow night so I'll be well enough to go to my hockey club's karaoke night/team fines night on Saturday. On the plus side though it is saving me money that I now don't have due to my flight booking stuff up
