best albums so far in no particular order:

univers zéro -- clivages
rogue wave -- permalight
broken bells -- st
yeasayer -- odd blood

all the others I heard won't last too long, some others I haven't heard yet, as the new dillinger escape plan.

I knew there was going to be a new one from them this year, but I didn't realize it was coming out so soon. Thanks for the reminder.

Planning to check these out at some point.

I'm a little surprised that you like that Vampire Weekend so much.

I wouldn't call myself a fanboy, but I've really liked both of their albums a lot. My friends here absolutely love them, so thats a factor too.

They're both in kind of a similar vein, but I think the Pantha du Prince is way, way better.

I can upload both for you today.

So far, I've liked:

Ted Leo & the Pharmacists - "The Brutalist Bricks"
She & Him - "Volume Two"
Shearwater - "The Golden Archipelago"
Spoon - "Transference"
Vampire Weekend - "Contra"
These New Puritans - "Hidden"

I need to get caught up, my list is boring so far.
