well that's interesting because the same shit happens where I live. anyone with Verizon has to literally walk 50 yards away from my place to make a call.

That's pretty awesome if AT+T will let it stay in the store.

ATT really should give these away for free.

"Hey, look how cool my iPhone is. And hey, check this thingamujog out. It helps me use my iPhone."

How insulting to iPhone users that they're making them pay for this.

Seriously, it's pitiful and proves how shitty the ATT network is.

Saint, have you read much about the EVO? how would you compare it to the Nexus One?

yes, the EVO is far better.... 4.3" screen, 8MP camera, more storage, front facing camera, hdmi out, kickstand (small value but cool nonetheless), bigger battery.

here's a chart that compares features:

http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/23/htc- ... d-field-o/

i am dying for this phone, but maybe there will be a nexus 2 or something that will use tmo that will convince me to stay. i guess the sprint pricing is an issue too. their everything plan is cheaper than tmo i think and comes with tv.

thanks for that. good info.

check this out...

http://androidandme.com/2010/03/news/7- ... nexus-one/

really good point at the end regarding updates though.

I guess it boils down to whether that wimax signal is good. otherwise, the HSPA+ signal of Tmo will be as good or better, and I might just stay with them. I guess we'll see in 3 or 4 mos.

Yeah, I thought their coverage was pretty good everywhere else.

My bro has Tmo and he in general is pretty happy with the coverage--a few spots here and there, but nothing too bad. Tmo's best thing going for them (and the place where ATT, Verizon and Sprint fall short) IMHO is pricing.

ah yeah I guess that could work. I never use bluetooth accessories, I'd kind of forgotten that they existed.

They didn't even mention Android, so that is a lame comparision.

No kidding.

They are not mentioning what phone models, features, and operating systems they are using for the comparison which makes the entire article worthless.

Apple also basically only makes 1 phone model, while their competitors make a variety of models and features available. Maybe that was part of his point that the phone manufacturers should stop making what the people want and focus on making their units better.

Not if the point of the article was to compare phone manufacturers, and polled users on things like ease of use and battery life. The OS does come into play there (on ease of use and interface design), but for whatever reason, that wasn't their focus.

Odd that Motorola and LG were left out entirely. I mean if Samsung and Nokia were included, I don't see why those wouldn't be.

Sure, a more informative poll might be to put main Android competitors up against iPhones, but maybe there haven't been enough of those on the market long enough to get a good poll.
