You need to get Gar something better than a paper cup on a string.

Gets much better, at least by 10 if not sooner.

First Aid Kit... I need it I think. New Normal keeps playing Emmylou in heavy rotation, and it's an amazing little song.

This only gets better if it's the leaked/pilfered nudes from Secret Life of the American Teenager actress Renee Olstead.

(Don't Google that from work.)

Yeah, I think Gar sounds pretty good the last 4-5 episodes. There's a few more tweaks I can make but it sounds better than if he were on the phone and the bottom line is WE AREN'T IN THE SAME ROOM.

Shayna Rose is the young lady in question, fellas.

Sadly no, from Steve's wiki

Quote:
...Van Zandt has recorded another album, Nobody Loves and Leaves Alive with his garage band the Lost Boys. Although the album remains unreleased, three tracks from it were contributed to the Sopranos television show including; 'Nobody Love and Leaves Alive', 'Affection', and 'Come for Me'.

If I join another show, I'm getting a proper mike. Sounds like I called in from Mars instead of Canada.

Caught up with the last few episodes. Really enjoyed it, especially the Dr. Cook guest spot. Had been eyeing up that "Malice @ Palace" Grantland article but had yet to take the plunge. Will do so now. Of course, I wholeheartedly endorse the First Aid Kit selection ("Marianne's Song" is also on their Live @ KCRW set).

First Kate Upton. Now Shayna Rose. At this rate, FT, you're going to supplant me as RESIDENT MOLO.

(Gotta step up my game.)

Lucky Episode #13 is up, if it had a title, it would be "Dave's mid-week drinking problem"

Made the mistake of trying to read/understand something while listening.

LooGAR, did your brother ever put access to these podcasts on his label's site? It's become a sorta verbal documentary of a label in operation and the goings on of the scene. Like it is the closest thing to a real interview since MTV's Loder.

It hadn't occurred to me. Good idea.
