Hey, a win is a win. Baltimore knew the Texans were going to be bringing it. To be honest, I thought they performed fairly well--except for a ton of passes that should have been easy catches. Our D held when they needed to--for all that offensive showmanship the Texans had for most of the afternoon they only put up 13 points. The Ravens did what they needed to do, not all Andre Johnson to be a factor and capitalize of TJ Yates' nerves (3 INTs but should've been 4 or 5 if Reed/R Lewis had held onto them). Texans held strong and there was definitely no shame in their season. With that hand that was dealt to them with injuries, etc, Kubiak did an amazing job of keeping their heads on straight.

As for the Pats, they're ranked 31st in pass yards allowed and 17th in rush yards allowed. Obviously Brady is the show--so we'll see. Gotta keep pressure on him.

I called it; although more than their defense shit the bed today. The team played better in the pre-season than they did today.

Just waiting for the tears to roll when the Pack loses in the divisional playoffs. All one can do is hold his breath when the opposing team passes because the secondary is borderline absent.

Most annoying thing people are saying (from my area) on fb and twitter: "Redskins beat the Giants 2x this year...just saying".

After this week, one thing is for sure, the Super Bowl is gonna be a snore.

I watched the game. You're shining a golden light on a mediocre performance.

Especially since it will more than likely be a Pats/Giants rematch.

I put money on it being a Harbaugh Bowl... And if you're a Niners fan it's going to be a great game. Younger brother has something to prove...

FR aside, no one has gotten more mileage of shit-talking and arrogance out of one Super Bowl ring than Ravens fans

No. Because I have no interest in any of the remaining teams. Besides the Patriots, there's not whole lot of 'entertaining' razzle dazzle big impressive offenses. Some good games might come out of the remaining teams; but I'm sure the NFL isn't happy about the Saints and Packers being knocked out. The Patriots will win the Super Bowl decisively. Yay!

I dunno man, that 9ers game is the best playoff game I've seen in recent memory. The only team with a "bad" offense left is the Ravens, so we'll just have to see.

Pats v. 49ers, or even a rematch of Pats v. Giants wouldn't be all bad.

eh. I dunno 49ers and Giants both seem like "not ready for prime time" sorta teams that should have been eliminated. I have no strong feelings about either team. The Pats will roll over either one..even with their shitty secondary.

I feel like the giants would put up the best fight...if that gets you through halftime so be it.

This whole season is an unpredictable shit show full of what now appears to be solid, but not flattering teams that get a lot of undeserved hype; and then everyone's up in arms when the over-hyped shit the bed. I've seen three Pats games this season where they played like absolute shit. So even the favorite is fallible.

Who cares about what the NFL wants? Any combination of teams could produce a good Super Bowl. I'm sure the NFL didn't "want" Tennessee, Carolina or Arizona in the SB but they played three of the best Super Bowls.

You have a short memory: The Packers were a 6 seed who barely made the playoffs last year; Teams get hot and/or come out of nowhere--it's the nature of the League.

I'm aware of that. And last year's Super Bowl was not a well-played game by either team and was not interesting to watch except for fans of those teams.

Hmm. Eliminated by the "ready-for-prime-time" Saints and your Packers with their shitty defenses?

Most Superbowl teams have an above average defense. The Packers dropped from #5 in total D last season to LAST in the NFL this season. I'm not surprised they lost to the Giants today.

Well I happen to live in a state that is not Wisconsin. I even know people outside of Wisconsin. And occasionally I talk with these people about football. That's how I know!

Even Packer fans described it as a boring game to watch.

No I didn't do an official poll, but that seems to be most people's opinion of that game.

Well the Patriots have the third worst D in the league. An outlier perhaps?

Yes. I did say "most". One great O and one great D and two great coaches. . Both home teams. We'll see.
