Szasz. I went to college with a kid that had this last name. I never bothered to mock him for having the laszt name as a fictional serial killer since he was a gypsy and was already a super easy target.

OMAC was okay, though it was kinda easy to see coming. I haven't picked up any of this superman/batman battle everyone's referring to, but i might have to now. also that Marvel/Superman teamup is starting to look interesting after rereading Kingdom Come last night.

You should read Sacrafice (Superman/Wonderman) if you are like OMAC. The last one when Supes fights Wonder Woman is great.I agree with you regardng OMAC. I still liked it, though. I cant wait for Infinite Crisis.

I'm a little confused. Is this in the Superman issues or Wonder Woman's?

Wonder Woman #219

I don't know what the deal is with the blindfold. I know what happened to her, but there are two covers, one with the blindfold and one without it. The cover I have does not have it.

All the reports I've read say that guys on the set of Spidey3 keep saying there's large quantities of sand being used. So unless Eric Foreman's going to play Sandman or Spidey and the Chameleon are going to have a big fistfight at a volleyball match, I don't know what the deal is with this film.

I'm all out against Chameleon and Kraven too. Vulture, Scorpion, Lizard, Sandman.. any of these would be more impressive in a fight.
Real sand? Not CGI sand? Wow! That's "old school".

[comicgeek]it's actually zsasz[/comicgeek]

The V For Vendetta movie looks decent, though I haven't read the book. I haven't even read Watchmen which I've had sitting in my room for like 3 years.

And yeah Chameleon would be super lame if he's the main villain, though I remember some issues when he was taking control of other villains behind the scenes like The Jackal and Kraven. I think he was involved with the Punisher at one point too.

I tried The Ultimates but just couldn't get into it.

Allstar Batman #1, however, was great.

i was watching that justice league unlimited show last night and the episode was written by warren ellis. has he written a couple of these? It was pretty crazy and filled with such minor JLAers that it was awesome.

Black Panther #7 is pretty good considering that most of the House Of M spinoffs have been pretty lame. It's funny that the dude who wrote and directed House Party is now writing this book.

Not really a comic geek , I do however enjoy Dusty Chalk's tastes in his comics. I never got into the whole Superhero , Marvel , etc. The few that I do pick up once in a blue moon are mostly horror related , being that's the genre of film & comic I love the most. Wonder what you guys think of my small collection.

Excellent books I picked up last week.

Jack Cross #1 (Warren Ellis)
Zombie King #1 (Frank Cho)

City Of Tomorrow is a pretty good series.

Batman #644 had a good ending.

I can't wait for The OMAC Project #6.

I'm really enjoying The Authority: Revolution and it sucks that the next issue is the last of it. I'm going to have to look into some of the other Authority books and see if they're as fun as this one. It reminds me of the old Authority series.

This has been the first I've read of Astro City since the original mini-series. It's not really as cool as I remembered, but I guess it's good enough to keep reading.

Am I missing out on Runaways? I've flipped through the first trade a couple of times and could never bring myself to buy it.

I would give the Astro City series some time to develop. It's been so consistently excellent, I'm sure Dark Ages will end up being cool.

Runaways is good. It's a little more aimed at the teenager crowd. So, reading it can feel a little like watching the OC at times, but it's pretty original. And at some point in the future there will likely be a lesbian love affair between two of the main characters. So, there's always that to look forward to.

Yeah, that's what I gathered. Vaughan is already pretty over the top in Ex Machina and Y the Last Man. Runaways just seems like too much. I may pick it up eventually, especially since those small GNs are pretty cheap.
