This prolly belongs in the College Football Thread, but UGA's starting LT out for season (ACL, MCL, PCL damage).

If LooGAR were FT, he'd be going R. Bud Dwyer, no?

I just made the appt to get my wisdom teeth removed at 29 years old. Insurance is covering 80%, but it still seems expensive.

Just heard a small plane crashed in a Boston supermarket parking lot. Is Squirtle shooting planes outta the air?

it happened in easton, MA and the only people on board, besides the pilot, were a cancer patient and his wife who were being flown to the dana-farber cancer institute.

Who turned out to be a friend of my best friend's father. They apparently have four year old twin daughters. Very sad.

- it gets old banging my head on the same code over and over again, trying to figure out something that should otherwise be very simple to fix. I've now resorted to trial by error.
- planning on enjoying a slice of 'za outside in the sun for lunch, working on the tan, and reading my book.
- temps may be getting higher, but that means it will be perfect weather when I take Sketchy up to Mt. St. Helens on Saturday. :)

DAMN. I missed this - just got back in late last night. I don't *remember* willing any planes out of the sky, but I could've done it in my sleep in the car.

The former... the book deals with how evangelicals have co-opted pop culture as a way of getting their message across. The part that made me laugh... the author (who is Jewish btw) went to a "theme park" in Florida, which was basically Jerusalem reconstructed and family-friendly. It was started by one of those "jews for jesus" guys. So the author goes to a stage performance, and he's talking about how everyone in the cast is wearing "raggy" tunics, although they're clean and not really old. Then Jesus comes out, resplendent in white tunic, red robe, and leather Tevas, with a headset befitting a drive thru worker. And he made this really funny remark about how "I wasn't sure if Jesus was there to shoo the torturers of this poor beggar away, or if he was asking if I wanted fries with that."

Jesus, it goes down to 4.09 here and we're excited.

That's what living in the city with the highest gas costs in the country does to you.

You 3.48 people have it made, that would be like winning the lottery.
