I've never had poutine to my knowledge. I wonder if I'd like it since I'm not a cottage cheese fan, and isn't that what it essentially is--curds?

Cheese curds are more like a squeaky, salty white cheddar. Poutine is awesome, and doesn't belong anywhere near this hurlfest of a thread.

Yeah awesome glutton food really doesn't belong in a thread about an abominable fast food misfire.

I've never had poutine, either, but someday I will. Someday.

Don't forget DAT GRAVY.

Someone could easily make a shoddy-Fast-Foodized version of this that we could all then cry about, though. I'm thinking maybe Wendy's?

Poutine was on that mega Canadian sandwich, which is what brought it up.

Delicious, squeaky little nuggets of cheese, when they're fresh. When they're not, just little nuggets of so-so cheese.

Got a quadruple down (two double downs) after work. They were exquisite. & the second was better than the first, since the warmth of the roasted chicken melted the cheese. (First sandwich, eaten immediately after leaving KFC, had lukewarm cheese.)

In re-reading this thread yesterday, I realized I posted this four days before my heart exploded, & had the sandwiches two days before that.

Related?

Jesus Monty, you need to record a PSA .
