Who cares? All I know is this fucking game is going to make my drive home a nightmare tonight. Fuck football. Assholes and their misshapen balls.

C'mon, Tom, you know people don't actually GO to Cardinals games!

They will for at least a year to see the new stadium and Leinart, after that it will be empty except for the Fiesta Bowl and when they host the BCS game.

Ed Zachary. And man do they go to these things. What a freaking mess the roads have been when they've played at home. Really looking forward to the day when people get over this new stadion and realize the Cards still suck. It is a nice stadium, however. You can see it from any high point in Phoenix - thing is HUGE.

I just wanted to chime in once again to make note that because of this fucking goddamned game it took me TWO HOURS to get home tonight. TWO HOURS solid on the road because of our fucked up freeway system that can't handle normal rush-hour traffic, let alone rush-hour traffic paired with an event. The Cards should have won just so my ordeal could have been worth something.

I know we've established that Dennis Green sucks, but the whole second half I kept wondering why they didn't give the ball to JJ Arrington more. Seems like every time he got the ball he'd pick up 5-6 yards, whereas the Bears D would wrap up Edge before he could even get going.

More importantly, games like these totally disprove the idea of changing your strategy once you get a lead. The same thing happened to the Eagles in the Giants game. If you have a successful game plan (ie Leinart in the shotgun throwing quick passes to Anquan Boldin) just stick with it the whole game.

I went to sleep just as it became 23-3, Cards.
Saw the final score on the news this morning.
Damn.
Too much Cubbie disappointment over the years to believe too much.

I repeat: Damn.

Don't watch this team for the rest of the year. You don't deserve it.

ha ha. bears looked like crap for most of the game (then the defense took over).

i'd say they don't have a shot at making the superbowl, but their competition is just as flawed, if not worse so.

As long as they play at home, they win convincingly

They'll probably get home field advantage in the playoffs with their schedule

Too bad you guys don't live in Phoenix. You missed Dennis Green completely flipping out at the press after the game, swearing, yelling, etc., then he stormed out of the press conference. Like he didn't expect the "what do you think went wrong" questions.

In Arabic countries, they'd take that Cardinals field goal kicker out back and behead him in front of his family for that performance.

I'm glad the Bengals got rid of him.

For local tee-vee sports, though, the NY correspondent getting drenched with beer after the Mets clinched the division is tops. Can't recall the name, though.

She's not a sportscaster, she's just hot. I think most men in Phoenix would pay to see Bev drenched on live TV.

This was an exciting fucking game to watch while drunk in a bar, surrounded by drunk Bears fans and Packer fans who hate the Bears with unholy wrath.
