I may not be seeing the same things you're seeing, but whenever I've seen him interviewed, he seems:

- stoner-ish, but given the sport, whatevs
- happy and well-adjusted
- talented
- grateful
- appreciative of the support

I'll take a smiling Shaun White over a moody Bode Miller anyday.

Really dug the womens' downhill last night, found the womens' halfpipe kindof a letdown after the mens', and could not force myself to wade into the figure skating.

Ladies downhill was awesome.
Ladies half pipe was tolerable, but a big letdown after the Shaun White dominance.
I got stuck watching that figure skating crap which turned into a debate with my wife that it isn't a real sport.
