Yesterday, I spent $150 on CD's of albums I had already downloaded (for free).
I guess if I am taking the moral route, I did the right thing by 'supporting' the artist...

but I am also unemployed. so in that sense, it was a dumb move, but it is a habit, and I hate the idea that in 5-10 years, CD's will probably be obsolete. I love the feeling of browsing in a record store for 3 hours. It is the biggest rush bringing a stack of music to the register...doesn't help my wallet though....how to break this mind set? even if i paid for the downloads, i'd still want physical copies....

Well, it finally happened.... my work PC shit the bed along with my hard drive which contained all of the music I've downloaded the last 3 years. The stupidest part of all, I have in my office a brand-new, unopened 160 GB external hard drive I could've easily used to back up all of the stuff in my My Documents, My Pictures and My Music folders. STUPID.

A guy is coming by tomorrow to see if he can recover any of the data.
