Yeah, I lost two of my Final 4 last night. Was on life support for a while, but I'm officially done. Well done to all four last night's winners. Should be a great pair of regional finals.

I'm loving this tourney... I really thought that once we hit the Elite 8, we'd be left with mainly #1 & #2 seeds. Alas, the "upsets" keep occurring and making things even more interesting.

I felt Florida was an overrated #2 seed, but it looks like I was wrong.

The Saturday matchups of Florida-Butler and UConn/Kemba vs. Arizona/Derrick are very good matchups.

Ohio State will have a tough time with Kentucky tonight, but I think they'll pull it out. Kansas should roll, but may run into trouble the next round against VCU/FSU. I'm hoping Marquette keeps rolling, but it'll be by far their toughest test of the season. And VCU should handle FSU, but who knows on that one.

I still think we end up with a Ohio State-Kansas final, but I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Butler & VCU both made the Final Four.

it's pretty much Virginia's state school, i.e. it should be called Virginia State except that virginia state is already a historically black college in petersburg, and virginia isn't a state but a commonwealth. one of those "makes sense if you don't think about it" things.

it's prety much exactly where U of Cincinnati was before Huggins (meaning that we've got some strong academic programs with some nobel laureates but also some DEPLORABLE academic standards for the student body at large) except VCU doesn't have paleolithic championship banners hanging from the rafters.
