I understand that some people are trying to get several listens in before writing reviews, and that's making the process take longer. This is why I did most of mine after only 1 full listen (with repeat listens on certain tracks). It's not that I'm only going to listen to them once, but I wanted to go ahead and post my thoughts because I knew there would be a lot of them to do.

I think the process can get a little overwhelming, for me especially since I'm still sending mixes out, but I think in due time, the reviews will come. I personally plan on reviewing all the mixes I get.

I'm listening to everything at least twice before reviewing and some 3-4 times. Its slowing me down. Plus I haven't even listened to a bunch of 'em once yet.

I'm about half way through reviewing Unlistenable. It'll be up today or tomorrow. Then I figure I need to do Radcliffe and Naked next since they reviewed mine. Old Bullee's will come soon after since I like it so much. It won't take many listens to review. I'm going to try to get those done this week. If anyone else wants a review soon then review mine. I don't feel guilty about not getting around to people's mix if they haven't reviewed mine either. But I still hope to eventually get them all done.

about reviews- sorry guys but i just moved. i have so much crap to do that i'm going to be slow with them from here on out. my brain kinda goes dead when i try to write reviews anyway, i'm not sure how much a benefit they are.

Damn, I've been as slack as anyone on the review front. I posted a couple of reviews a week or so ago, but between my Grandmother's passing and my fam being in the middle of a move, I've been out of commission lately. Hate to throw excuses out there, so I'll begin bringing the mixes into work and reviewing as I have time...

As an aside, being exposed to all of this new music has kicked major arse. Finding new mixes in the mailbox at the end of a shitty day...nice.

i'd probably say something in this thread about having posted reviews for mixes that i received nearly a month after sending all of mine out, but i've already conceded to a 50% return.

I just got the Max mix yesterday. A pleasant surprise all around, 'cuz I wasn't expecting it PLUS it's pretty great.

It's taking me a lot longer to digest all these mixes than I'd expected... I've only listened to about half of them so far. Which is great for me, as I still have a bunch of new mixes to explore, but bad, I guess, for people impatient for feedback.

I'm terrible at reviews but might start posting some in the near future.

I haven't listened to a great deal of mixes lately. I took a bit of a break after what seemed to be nothing but 2 weeks of listening to mixes. I'll get back on 'em again soon.

And yeah I'm not brilliant at reviewing mixes either I guess. I just try and say more than - I like the vocals....the drums suck...the guitars are cool...I am a chode...blah blah
