Please, somebody fix the Pistons.

Antoine Walker, Gary Payton, and White Chocolate getting a ring could give me a heart attack.

Man oh man has Detroit been horrible in the playoffs this year.

While I was disappointed that my Spurs lost (to a 60-win team in overtime of Game 7), how must the Pistons fans feel after a 64-win season? Amazing hubris and ego.

yeah, 'toine, glove and j-dub don't deserve rings.

They're simply not winners. So if they win a championship it will cause some sort of cosmic unbalance. And that's bad.

didn't glen robinson win a ring with san antonio? that's gotta be the biggest sin of all.

I don't know how dallas is going to sleep tonight with the Suns' collective weiner still forcibly lodged in their collective tuckus. i haven't seen them play this badly all year.

what a performance. at least dallas knows it cant be any worse than tonite. but ive never seen both dirk and JET play as bad as they did tonite. and howard gave up too, late. they absolutely have to drive to the basket against PHX, no way they can outshoot them with midrange jumpers.

i couldnt have been more optimistic two nights ago, and now Ive done a complete 180.

Don't you talk shit about BIG DOG. That niggaz ice cold baby.

(they didn't really play him much or at all against Detroit though. So it's pretty much like how Andrew Gaze won his ring...)

'Toine and J-dub I can understand, but I don't think it would be the worst thing for Payton to win a ring. I mean, he's a future HOF-er.

fuck big dog...the guy never played an ounce of defense. If he had any kind of work ethic he would have been a great player, but he all he was was a shooter. One god dammed great shooter, but I'll never forgive him for missing that shot against the sixers in 2001.

It would have been nice if Dirk could have laid a 3-for-11 in just one of the four games the Spurs lost to the Mavs. If he had, my boys would still be playing, and probably up at least 3-1 on the Amare-less Suns. Why can't I get over this???

Not likely. Shaqs fading fast and the others aren't dependable. Wade needs to bail the Heat once his contract is up.

I agree on Shaq, Payton & Zo are getting old but I still think they have a few years left in them. As far as Wade is concerned, he'll be a Heat for the next 8 years before moving on.

He'd be smart to wait a year before he signs an extension. Besides Haslem (who is only decent) what other players can they depend on for the future....Antoine....Jayson Williams.

Wade needs to come back to Milwaukee and play for the Bucks.

Don't worry , the Bucks will get Wade. But, only at the end of his career.

Miami has a couple young guys who may or may not develop. Wayne Simien and Dorell Wright we'll see in the next few years. Other than that , Riley will make sure he fills other needs via free agency like he did this year. We'll see.

They can't with those huge contracts on the books. They're cooked.

Not so fast. I'm sure a lot of quality free agent players will take a major pay cut to get a shot of winning a ring.

Man, White Chocolate definitely stepped up for the Heat last night. I just kept shaking my head the whole game.

Me too. He even looked off balance on some of those shots and still nailed them. Before the game started I told my buddies that all we needed was either J-Dub , 'Toine or Gary to step up and we'd win. My first prediction was Jason was gonna come through and he didn't dissapoint. I love when my hunches are right on.

I'd like to see Dallas take it tonight. I'm scared of both teams but.... I'm pullin for Dallas.

And on a side note. If the Heat and Mavs do play for the title, American Airlines are gonna be some happy campers. Being that the Heat play at American Airlines Arena and Dallas at American Airlines Center.
