I'd already be on my way if it wasn't for this visiting professor that the girl has to take out to dinner. We'll most assuredly be in town tomorrey, tho.

You could have a little more tact and *not* tell everyone here you hate them.

i think i've finally had enough of the 4+ years of low back pain, and i'm gonna step up to the microdisectomy surgery. i talked to a friend of a friend who recently had this done and i think he's convinced me.

of course it'll have to wait until after ski season.

I just wanna point out that I've refused a half-dozen recommendations for the new Against Me! album almost entirely on the basis of what catswilleatyou has posted here about them. and I don't even know if we have remotely similar tastes in music.

Well done, my friend.

My lunch consisted of Smart Ones (Weight Watcher frozen dinners) chicken and cheese quesadillas.

Now, there are two in a box, but only one is a serving. Fine. The thing is, they are packed in the same non-resealable plastic bag.

The directions state: 'Remove 1 quesadilla (1 serving) and 1 sleeve from the plastic wrapper. Return second quesadilla to the freezer.'

In other words, 'can you put the second one back, fatty?'.

So my second quesadilla's cheese wasn't fully melted because there were no instructions on cooking two and apparently, doubling the time doesn't work with this microwave. They were, however, surprisingly good for what they are.

- Fall seems to be here already in pdx.

- what's the deal with most men having one syllable names? Chris, Mike, Jeff, Tom, Rick, Joe... is it a sign of virility or something?

I feel your pain. Literally.

I just saw a therapist a couple weeks ago who told me what I suspected, I have some vertebrae that keep popping out down in my lower back. I'm in pain more then I'm not these days.

I need to join a an AA- Advil Anonymous. Can't take anything stronger cause of breastfeeding. Sucks.

This is true, however they choose to go by the one syllable moniker.

dudes speak monosyllabicly. We'd refer to each other with grunts if we could figure out a way to spell them.

Actual dialogue from a soap opera I chanced upon today.

A: 'I can't remember anything because of the brain tumor, what did I do?'

B: 'You bought a gun and threatened to kill your neighbour'

A: 'I didn't actually do it did I?!

B: 'no....'

A: 'that's a relief!'

B: '....but he had a nervous breakdown and his marriage fell apart'

ZOOM TO SHOCKED EXPRESSION FROM A
