Remember that Richard Hell thread? I think pretty much everyone loved it.

I can't remember which playoff game it was during last weekend (maybe Pittsburgh) but they started playing the intro to "Hot For Teacher" and I'm thinking "That's not original at all, but neither is "Welcome To the Jungle" "Hells Bells" or "Song 2".

Basically you could do a lot worse to fire up a stadium full of middle aged people than Van Halen and I'm surprised it's not used as much as the others I mentioned.

Gary Glitter - "Rock n' Roll: Part 2"
Was the one that we always heard at the games at Mizzou. Don't seem to hear that one as much anymore, since the guy was convicted (was he convicted?) on child porn charges.

I learned this morning that black people love Kenny G.

Tennis's new album cover is a play on Lisa Hartman's album cover.

So there's a band called Tennis, and there is/was a singer named Lisa Hartman, then. Ah.

Looks like they photoshopped-in the head of young Melissa Etheridge on that Tennis one.

It's just very, very easy to imagine that head slowly tilting back, dropping off of the body, and rolling across the studio floor.

I was gonna say the same thing - and a football jersey...? I guess he figured shorts weren't gonna be viable.
