What's with the ad hominem, man? Why can't you handle a little discrepancy in taste? I mean it's true that those two bands are completely horrible and won't last more than two or three years, but no one was attacking you for liking them.

It's great SFA have stuck around for over a decade. 10 years, and they're still going strong. Boy, are you going to rush out and buy their album once the NME gives it a 9?

Yeah I've been trying to listen to whole albums that I have on my IRiver so I can weed out some of the stuff I know I won't be listening to again, so I'll probably listen to it soon.

The thing I use to love about CMJ and now Obner was the community, where we were able to like different things. We would post about bands, whomever they were, and other members that actually liked that band would put in their two cents. Even if you didn’t like it you were able to say so without personal attacks. Energy for Everyone is a brand new member and here you are personally attacking him for no good reason at all, it’s sad because that wasn’t what Obner was about, we are not that supposed hip board.

Fine Dalen you don’t like the new Super Furry Animals. It’s going to be their most successful album ever and they are finally going to get paid for all the great music they have done for over ten years now. No problem not liking it and saying so, even if you don’t know what the fuck you are talking about, but don’t attack people for liking something because that is just plain wrong!

Obner is losing some of its best posters and I believe that this is a huge reason why. I’ve come back and I hope other old timers come back as well because this really is the best music board on the net because of the diversity of taste, lets keep it that way.
