This is the first time I've heard Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and I can see why the hype. They're very enjoyable. I liked it a lot but I'll wait til I hear a little bit more before I decided whether to buy it or not.

get your ass over to Neighborhoodies and drop the $9.99.

Oh, the peer pressure.

But seriously, is that song indicative of the rest of the album, cause I noticed you said it was your favorite track.

Also, I'm loving this last track. I can listen to this all night. Is this what they call IDM?

the CYHSY track i chose for the podcast is the perfect representation of them IMO, and yes, the rest of the album sounds similar. damn it's good.

the last track is by Vex'd, and is actually Dubstep, not IDM. Dubstep music is a cross between grime/breakbeat/drum and bass. The raw energy of grime, the breakbeat foundation, and the twisted and militant effects from drum and bass.

Nice podcast man. I listened to it during the six hours I was in the car today. It was good to break up the dull monotony that is northern Missouri.

Question...will we be able to listen to this in the future or will next week's podcast replace this week's?

FInally got around to listening to it...not bad. Couple of questions.

1) Did you have to record the music through the mic, or is there a way to just do that through the computer.

2) Where did you get that version of "Heavy Metal"? Mine is totally different, and it rocks. No harmonica, no acoustic guitar, louder vocals. Is that one somewhere on the album?

i recorded the spoken parts seperately, then added the tracks in.

the version of Heavy Metal is taken from their album, which i ripped from my cd. not sure which version you're referring to, as this is the only one i've heard.

is there some CYHSY ep i don't know about?????

I have the disadvantage of having a french accent. My poor english. Just mangling the crap out of it. :-) Hopefully, people find it endearing. 500+ listened to my feed in some form or another since I started this thing. It's mind boggling to me.

I like it. It seems as though the volume on your voice is too low, though, as I have to turn it up to hear you and turn it down to avoid getting my brain melted by the tunes. Good work.

Thanks.

The first 3 eps, I was trying to find the balance between the music and my yakking volume wise, i think number 4 i got it mostly right. Unless your're talking about ep 4 then I'm fucked. :-)

Dalen, this is great, exactly what I am looking for in a podcast. I wonder how illegal it is to play the whole song...

Great idea. That will give my perpetually-out-of-town ass a chance to listen to all of them. I'm going to grab this tonight before I hit the road. Thanks.

Very good job, especially for the first attempt. I have high hopes for future editions.
