Once and, surely, future Academy Award nominee Samuel L. Jackson went vehemently on the record at The Man junket Sunday, assuring reptile and aviation enthusiasts the world over that the New Line production currently sporting the hopelessly drab title Pacific Air 121 will indeed be rechristened Snakes on a Plane before its hugely anticipated release date on August 18th, 2006. Here’s our exchange in its entirety:

Jackson: We’re totally changing that back. That’s the only reason I took the job: I read the title.

Jackson: You either want to see that, or you don’t.

Beaks: And how are those snakes? Besides being on a plane?

Jackson: Some of them are aggressive, some of them are cool. They’re interesting to watch, and interesting to interact with. It depends on what kind of snake it is. holy shit I had a roommate in college who fucking loved this movie. there were constant digital cable reminders popping up our TV round the cxlock for crap like that, the Mario Van Peebles garbage dump Solo, and the fucking abysmal Belly. Come to think of it, I think the Beastmaster was the only movie we could both actually enjoy.

is one of the most genuinely retarded movies ever made. the first time I saw it was probably the hardest I've ever laughed at a movie in my life though. It should be mentioned that I was very, very, very high and in 9th grade at the time.

I'm with the Senator on Gymkata that shit was dope especially when they are lost in the village of the crazies and that whacked out dude cuts his hand off with a scycle and it remains holding on to the drainage pipe.

my vote goes for "Octagon"

Monsta -- I really like it when the dude gets surrounded in the Village, and MAGICALLY, he is able to do a pommel horse routine, beating back all the facelss zombies, and then continues the gauntlet running.

the only screwface movie i'm droppin is that shitty seagal one where there's TWO screwfaces and they both sell heroin to middle schoolers.
