Absolutely.

Add The Scorchers' "19th Nervous Breakdown" and Magazine's "I Love You You Big Dummy".

R. Stevie Moore does a wicked "Cover Of The Rolling Stone".

Stole mine.

Also:
Otis Redding - Satisfaction
Meat Puppets - What to Do
Ghost - Live With Me
David Bowie - Let's Spend the Night Together

I'd like to try to make a Stones covers mix. I'm a sure a lot of people here could be really helpful with that.

How could I have forgotten the Dickies?!?!? I love their covers -- Sound of Silence, Nights in White Satin, you name it...any cover they've done.

Devo are also quite the covers outfit -- they've also done a hilarious version of NIN's "Head Like a Hole".

And a nicely distorted version of the theme from "The Andy Griffith Show" here.

Or for those of you old enough to have watched Captain Kangaroo, how about a cover of "Horse in Striped Pajamas"?

More freebies here!

Is that the same as "Manah Manah", excellently covered by Cake?

Also, Sarah McLachlan's "Rainbow Connection" from the same benefit comp "For The Kids".

Yeah, "Mahna Mahna" was a track to a softcore movie originally or something like that. Benny Hill used a version of it on his show and Jim Henson had the hipster Muppet called Mahna Mahna who performed it on The Ed Sullivan Show, Sesame Street, The Muppet Show, etc.

Awesome song. Great puppet. My brother Tim looked just like him when he was in high school.
