Having a day that new releases are put on the shelves has always confused me. Here they just sort of drift in on any day of the week.

Prolly will give The Crimea a whirl, for the name, nothing else.

I've not heard the album but The Crimea have put out a few excellent singles over the last few years. I'd be interested to see a tracklisting to see if it includes 'Lottery Winners On Acid', 'White Russian Galaxy' or best of all 'Baby Boom'.

I'll be picking up Coco Rosie and Viarosa, for the record.

On The Crimea's site, it says the disc comes out in early 2006, but it looks like it's available at CDUniverse.com.

I aleady picked up the Iron & Wine/Calexico over the weekend, but I got it on vinyl and still haven't gotten the chance to listen to all of it. The first two songs are solid, at least.

Today, if I can find them, I'll be picking up The Double and the Black Dice album that should've come out last week. I'm still undecided about whether or not to take a chance on the new D. Banhart, and I may pick up the new OOIOO. Their last one wasn't their best so I'm not too sure about that, either.
