Well black technically isn't supposed to go with brown

I wear a black shirt and brown pants to work all the time. I look snazzy as hell, too. Don't make me feel all self-conscious about it now.

Hey I said I think it looks good. I like the color combination, I just catch a lot of shit from people when I pair that up or i'm with someone and they see someone with say, a brown skirt and black shoes.

My girlfriend who is a Textile and Clothing design major is an ardent supporter of the brown/black rule and also hates it when I wear a pair of navy blue pants with black shirts. We don't argue about it much, I just kind of laugh it off, but I do love to show here pictures of musicians in magazines dressed in brown/black combos.

I believe in the Men's dress rule of black shoes with black socks/black belt and Brown shoes with brown socks and a brown belt, but that is only due to the fact that it is professionally advised.

The problem is, you're a winter, and brown pants are for autumns. Sell them back to the thrift store, or bleach them and dye them grey.

As a drinker, you should know that is a lie.

Black or white go with anything right?

Black tee.

or you could just grow your beard and hair long enough to weave into a pair of overalls.

That'd be amazing. And I'm sure polka would agree that that would be the right shade of red.

I also think black works (of course I use this combination so I would have to agree).
